Medgenics intends to bring its innovative products to market via multiple strategic partnerships with major pharmaceutical and/or medical device companies, starting with EPODURE and INFRADURE.

Beyond these, Medgenics plans to develop and/or out-license a pipeline of future Biopump products to treat a range of diseases such as multiple sclerosis (interferon-ß), hemophilia (Factor XIII), pediatric growth hormone deficiency (human growth hormone) and diabetes (insulin).

Other potential applications include arthritis, obesity, wound healing, cancer and chronic pain.

The Company's technology is protected by more than 45 patents and patent applications in the U.S. and worldwide. This extensive IP portfolio covers the various elements of the Biopump system from tissue engineering and biology aspects through device implementation and systematic use in treating disease.
